Changes: Weapon (SF2)

Weapon is one of the five types of equipment that are used, along with armor, helm, ranged weapon and magic. Weapon increases the damage done by the player through attacking with "punch" button, also changing the animations. Almost every weapon can be bought in the shop except for Boss Weapons, Challenger Weapons and Special Event weapons.

List of Shop Weapons

There are two types of weapons available in the shop: standard weapons and super weapons. Standard weapons can be bought with either coins or gems, and can be upgraded to a higher level using coins. They do not have enchantments. Super weapons can only be bought with gems, and upgrading them to a higher level requires gems as well. Super weapons comes with enchantments. When bought, the attack and enchantment power of a super weapon will automatically adapts to the player's current level.

List of Special Weapons

Special weapons cannot be obtained from shop under normal circumstances, Christmas and Halloween weapons must be bought in Halloween and Christmas, boss weapons are won after the player defeats the boss in eclipse, challengers will give their weapons to the player after the player defeats them.

Trivia

Enchantments on Boss Weapons and Monk's Katars are more powerful than the maximum enchantment power possible in players level that they obtained the weapon.
Level 37 and Level 12 are the only levels which 3 weapons are unlocked upon reaching. The other levels unlock a maximum of 2 weapons.
