Magari Yari

The Magari Yari is very similar to the standard Yari, along with the Silver Spear. In fact, it is the same, except for the appearance and the super slash (also called the attack frenzy). The attack frenzy of the normal Yari is a series of three quick short range stabs. The attack for the Magari Yari is different. It is a sharp, curved upward strike, followed by a short, high vertical stab, followed by a spinning slash and then finally a downward vertical stab. The Magari Yari is wielded by the fighter Squirrel.

Attacks

• Slash: a quick forward stab
• Double Slash: two quick forward stabs
• Strong Slash: a hit to the opponent's upper torso or head
• Super Slash: a curved upward strike, followed by a short high vertical stab, follwed by a spinning slash and finally a downward stab
• Spinning Slash: a spin, and then a thrust into the opponents head
• Upper Slash: a high, horizontal, head hitting stab.
• Low Slash: pulling back the weapon and then slashing at the opponent's legs or feet
